I wish I could give Melissa 10 stars! Melissa is amazing. I have been lucky enough to have been a client of hers for more than 20 years now. It has been my pleasure to watch her unstoppable drive to learn and evolve. I was so impressed with her skills all those years ago and she has only built on that foundation.
She is able to gently, calmly explain what she has found and how she is going to fix it. Her ability to relax you has never been matched. She has mastered the Bio-mechanical Restructuring Methodology and has refocused on mastering the skills needed for Visceral Manipulation. She has an intense understanding of the interconnected amazingness of the human body and her joy in solving its little painful mysteries is apparent. Honestly, I just can't say enough about Melissa and Sacred Circle Therapies. Whenever I refer someone, I always say, "If afterwards you don't feel like it was worth it, I'll pay for your session." Out of at least 10 referrals over the years, not one person has ever felt anything but wonder at how they feel. I've yet to have to cover anyone's session!

Melissa is a gifted healer with a background in both conventional and natural healing and it is obvious that her talents, compassion and abilities are for animals - not just humans. I have known Mel since 2017 and observed that most people "light up" when she is around because of her warm, kind nature.
And the dogs - well, they truly connect! It is if they recognize her, walk right up and wiggle all over. Both Ronin/Labradoodle and Kirby/boxer mix fell in love with her at first sight and we have had her stay in our home multiple times knowing that our treasures were in the best of care. Kirby is our college-aged son's dog so he is out of state now and when we said we would be away for the weekend, he panicked about Kirby UNTIL we mentioned Melissa would be staying at the house.
Now when we travel, it seems the animals have a special vacation as well. Our neighbors elderly lab, Maggie was over for a visit and Melissa quietly petted her, looked deep into her eyes and talked softly to her. Maggie relaxed in contented surrender at her feet. We have a mini farm and recently added the horses and chickens to Melissa's list of duties which she handled seamlessly.
In addition, she has such respect for our home and property. She is honest and trustworthy and a joy to work with and to know! If Melissa has decided to expand into dog sitting services, schedule her quickly because if it is anything like her healing practices, you will have to book her 4 months in advance....!
